UK: Three-year-old boy suffers serious burns after a deliberate acid attack in Worcester

A three-year-old infant boy has been taken to hospital after suffering serious acid burns to his arm and face. The child was injured in a deliberate attack at Home Bargains shop in Worcester.
Police have released images of the three men: “The incident will shock the community. We’re carrying out inquiries to identify those responsible”, Superintendent Mark Travis said.
He went on to say: “At this time we are treating this as a deliberate attack on a three-year-old boy.” Officers are appealing to members of the public to come forward with any information.
“The three men in the photo may have information vital to our investigation. I am sure someone will recognize them and I would urge anyone with information to contact us as a matter of urgency.”
Police have a 39-year-old man from Wolverhampton in custody having been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit grievous bodily harm.
